How does the 10% commission work?
Klout's 10% fee comes out of the gross booking amount. If you list R1,000 for a UGC video, the brand pays R1,000 and you receive R900. There are zero surprise transfer charges or extra hidden fees.
When is my payment secured and when is it paid out?
Payment is secured in TradeSafe escrow the moment you click 'Accept' on a brief invite — before you record a single clip. Once you upload your deliverables and the brand signs off, funds are released directly to your verified bank account.
Can I offer both UGC and influencer posting?
Yes! Your profile supports separate rate cards for UGC content (content the brand runs on their own ads) and Influencer posts (content posted to your personal social channels).
What if a brand requests revisions?
Brands can request reasonable revisions if the submission doesn't match the original brief instructions. You can review feedback and upload revised edits directly inside your order screen.
What happens if I decline a brief invite?
Declining costs you nothing, carries zero penalty, and does not affect your profile standing or search visibility.
